HAIR EXTENSIONS

A great way to change your look, whether you want to add colour, thickness, length or all three, this can be achieved with extensions. I apply them in 2 methods which are detailed below. I only use 100% human remi hair, I can offer cinderella or celebrity elite hair at extra cost. I use a strand by strand method and I blend your natural hair in with the extensions so no one will ever no you have them in.

Consultations are free, as long as you are in the stated areas, during this I will discuss with you what look you want to achieve ie length, colour, thickness, show you examples, do a colour match of your hair and answer any questions you may have. When booking for the fitting of your extensions I will require a £100 deposit to secure the booking and put towards the cost of ordering the hair. This is non refundable.

Micro rings.

This is one of the latest techniques. Applied strand by strand for a very natural look. No heat or glue involved. Small acrylic coated metal rings are threaded onto a small section of your hair, the extension is placed inside and clamped shut. These extensions are held on by grip, as you loose upto 100 natural hairs from your head each day, when you loose a few in the bond it can loosen the extension an they can come out without damaging your hair. This means these extensions require maintenance every 2-3weeks from the day they are fitted. The good thing with these extensions, apart from being completely safe on your hair, is that the hair can be re used and the extensions re fitted. So when any do come out these can be put back in. These extensions last between 2-3mths and you can have a full refit for at this time. Application takes around 4 hours.

Pre bonded.

This is also a strand by strand method. Each extension has a nail shaped keratin tip which is a high quality glue which is very gentle on your hair. There is less shedding with these extensions as the hair is already sealed together. Each extension is placed on a small section of your hair then is melted with a heat connector and this fuses the bond with your own hair. These are very strong bonds and do last longer than micro ring extensions. Maintenance usually every 4 weeks. With correct care and maintenance these extensions last around 3mths. Application takes 4 1/2 hours.

It is highly important for the up keep of your extensions that they are cared for properly and maintained during the time you have them in.

During maintenance every bond is checked any cracked or loose bonds will be repaired, any extensions that have come out I will re fit and the extensions will be trimmed.

Highlights - extensions can also be used for adding flashes of colour through your hair without the need of dye.
